Bob’s Spalding Pieds and Whites

We started our Spalding Pied and White projects from scratch over a decade ago by breeding Import Pavo Muticus males over India Blue Pied females and using several pairs to ensure the gene pool stayed diluted. We then selected the best phenotype “Split to Pied” and “Split to White” offspring and maintained strict husbandry rules until they were at breeding age. Once they were mature, we paired unrelated “Split to Pieds” x “Split to Whites” and created Spalding Pied offspring we also created the Spalding White offspring from the resulting Spalding Pieds. We then used several of the best Spalding Pieds to repeat the cycle therefore creating better phenotypes annually. We have invested many years and a ton of resources to create great Spalding Pieds and Whites and they are still a work in progress.

We strive for Import level Spaldings and we maintain a flock for the budget minded and also offer higher level Spaldings for those who seek the absolute best. Contact Gerald Barker @ (254) 702-1563 for info on the upcoming 2026 season availabilities.
